Some planning, some bookings, some procrastinating

It's been a while (thus procrastinating in the title) so I should probably check where we left off.  One sec...

Ah, still working on the eclipse stuff way back then.  Now I am planning for the Baltics part of the trip.

I have booked some 'Get Your Guide' tours which I haven't committed to yet (aka, not paid for yet) and a few free walking tours.  Let's see what I've got going on: (in order of me finding the confirmation email, not in order of actual tours)

Curonian Spit (Neringa) from Klaipeda (Lithuania).

I am just looking at the price of this one. I am for sure going to cancel thia.  I kind of lost my head when I booked it (I remember it being @$200 not $450!!).  There's a city bus that goes half way down the spit.  That's going to have to do.

Well, this isn't going well so far. We've looked at one booked tour and already rejected it.

Let's see what else I decided on:

Moose & Wildlife safari with campfire dinner from Helsinki (Finland)

Finnish campfire snacks, Pickup and drop-off in Helsinki city center, Expert nature guide, Home made berry juice, Quality binoculars

Snacks and Berry Juice!  Count me in!  I don't even need a moose.  This is an evening walk (6 hours)

Kraków: Auschwitz-Birkenau & Salt Mine Full-Day Guided Tour (Poland)

This one is super cheap!  11 hours for less than $40. I bet there's no snacks, or even berry juice!  But it's a must do.  I think I might have even already paid so they don't bump me for someone who is willing to pay more than $3.40/hour.

GuruWalk free walking tours (always adjustable)

Krakow Walking Tour

Vilnius Walking Tour

Hmm, I thought there was more.  This is what happens when I am too busy at work!  The weather has been nice so I have been using my lunch breaks for walks and not trip planning.  I'll do better.

I have done some adjusting to rooms and added in a stop (Šiauliai, Lithuania for the Hill of Crosses).  But that is all going to have to wait for another day.
